THE IDEA Cinemetrics is about measuring and visualizing movie data, in order to reveal the characteristics of films and to create a visual “fingerprint” for them. Information such as the editing structure, color, speech or motion are extracted, analyzed and transformed into graphic representations so that movies can be seen as a whole and easily interpreted or compared side by side.

ProjectSupportLocal is a set of small interview and shorts about local shops, stores, artists, and boutiques in the Seattle area. These interviews/shorts are created with the intent to showcase the smaller shops and individuals who are buried under the masses. This short trailer/clip is on local Seattle shop R.P.S
For every brand, clothing line, shop, boutique, grocery store, department store, cafe, etc, customer loyalty and service is a number one priority. For the true companies/workers that have a ‘customer first’ mentality, an obvious positive vibe and reputation will be amounted. One local sneaker shop that stands out above the rest has to be R.P.S. Nestled right on East Pike Street, this shop has more than a gold star in my book. For all the times that I have bought something or just simply browsed around, the customer service is exceptionally inviting and positive. Now, seeing that my opinions may be biased I researched on Yelp to see what other people thought of this shop. After reading various amounts of posts, my opinion about RPS is on par with many others. As well, the people who didn’t really like the store that much marked it down because of the shops inventory. Yes for the most part RPS may not have the ‘GREATEST’ selection of shoes but they still keep up to date with new releases and limited editions. For the most part, I encourage you to ‘Support Local’. For every new department store or mall that pops up, shops such as R.P.S lose business. More than anything, the customer service here is exceptional. Compared to other local shops and boutiques, RPS’ service reigns supreme.
Take a look at this short interview we did with Chikara (owner/RPS) back about 8 moths ago on his experience with customer service.
